Happy Houlas Dog Walking & Pet Sitting, LLC got its start in Hawaii and is now replanting and spreading its roots (and hopefully some aloha) here in Woodbridge, Virginia.

First thing's first...what the heck does Happy Houlas mean?! The business is named for our 2 rescued Catahoula Leopard Dogs. You'll see their happy faces in our logo along with paw prints from our other 2 dogs. Providing the same care to others' pets that we do our own is our mission.
We would love to become your pet's other best friend and take them out for some much-needed exercise and adventure while you're away. Whether it's a long day at the office or a vacation, we have you and your furry, feathered, scaled friends covered!

Our staff consists of lifelong animal lovers and pet parents who place your pets and home as our top priority. We are background checked, pet CPR and first aid trained and fully insured for your peace of mind.

Personal, punctual, professional and passionate. As a first time client, Kristy exceeded expectations. Her web/phone-based client portal is user friendly and provides seamless communication. Unlike other pet services, I never had to wonder "how was Vinnie doing or feeling?". Instead, I looked forward to Kristy's, journaling and pictures of Vinnie playing, snacking and strolling from every visit. Truly a great personal experience for Vinnie. 5 stars.

Kristy and her assistant took care of our 3 monsters in our home, and believe me I was nervous because I’ve never left them with anyone but my sisters, and my two older dogs can be pretty nervous around new situations. Kristy assured me everything would be fine, she took time to assure my dogs the same thing. They all came out of they’re shell and were so comfortable being cared for by Kristy. My favorite thing was all the updates and seeing they’re smiling faces, some days seemed like they didn’t even notice we were gone. Not to mention pricing!!! Reasonable pricing, we will definitely use her services again if possible. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

There’s no one like Kristy! If I could rate her with 100 stars 🌟 I would! She is an absolutely perfect caregiver for our fur babies! My 1 yr old golden and 4month old puppy worship her! She treats them like her own. She has also cared for my 1 year old kitty when we went out of town and has accommodated a few special last minute requests!!! My babies look forward to her visit everyday, my oldest even looks for her at the appointed time. She is truly one of a kind!!! Thank you Kristy, we could not be happier!
